Oakley on Tuesday, June 29th from 10:00am - 6:00pm. REMINDER: Chicago vehicle stickers expire on June 30, 2010, with a grace period until July 15, 2010.

The recycling location will be located at Instituto del Progreso Latino at 2570 S. Blue Island Avenue. All residents in the 25th Ward can leave their unwanted electronic (see below for list of eligible equipment) near the curb in front of their residence before 8am. Trucks will be sweeping the neighborhoods picking up equipment between 8am-12pm.

Come to this free workshop to learn more how to appeal your asessment and to learn about exemptions that you may qualify for, but aren't taking advantage of. This workshop will be conducted by soeone from the Cook County Assessor's Office and will assist you with the tools to appeal your property taxes on our own, without a lawyer.
