Block Party Application

If you are interested in having a Block Party, download the application or pick one up at our office. Make sure to bring proof of residency when you apply.

Moving Van / Public Way Permit

If your moving van needs to block an alley or a street, please obtain a permit. You can also receive temporary no-parking signs for your moving van.

Disabled Parking Placard

For those who are disabled, an appropriate placard is available for their vehicle by using the following application. The same application can be used to renew your permit.

Recycling in the 25th Ward

The City of Chicago will be shifting to the Blue Cart Recycling program citywide between June of 2008 through the end of 2011.

Garage Sale Permit

A permit is needed for all garage sales, yard sales, apartment sales and similar occasional sales of household goods that are conducted on residential property within the City of Chicago.

Chicago Vehicle Stickers and Annual Residential Parking Permits on Sale June 29th

The new 2010-2011 Chicago Vehicle Stickers and Annual Residential Parking Permits (incl. Visitor Passes) will be on sale for one day only at the 25th Ward Office at 2439 S. Oakley on Tuesday, June 29th from 10:00am - 6:00pm. REMINDER: Chicago vehicle stickers expire on June 30, 2010, with a grace period until July 15, 2010.
